Definition
- Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF), tricyclic, aromatic compounds formed by two benzene rings, connected by two oxygen atoms in PCDD and by one oxygen atom in PCDF, and the hydrogen atoms of which may be replaced by up to eight chlorine atoms
